#### What is the Alpha Avatar?

The Alpha Avatar is your pass to play fast; it consists of two key elements:

Each Avatar in each class is one-of-a-kind and is as unique as you are, boasting exclusive Alpha backgrounds, traits, and skins, enhancing its rarity and collectability. ✨

Alpha avatars are categorized into six different classes:

After acquiring a collectible Avatar, you can make it your Checkmate profile picture or Flip it.&#x20;

**Alpha Avatars provide:**

1. **Early Adopter Benefits:** As an Alpha Avatar holder, you gain first access to new features, updates, and Alpha-only events. This includes exclusive drops, special loot, and invitations to Alpha-only  tournaments
2. **Token-Gated Access:** The 2D Avatar enables token-gated login access to Alpha-only features&#x20;
3. **A Community Voice:** As an Alpha Avatar holder, you have a say in the development and future of the Checkmate platform with community voting rights. Influence key decisions and help shape the future of the Checkmate community. 🚀🗣️
4. **Collectability and Traceability:** Given their unique traits and limited nature, Alpha Avatars are being released as collectibles. They can be traded or collected, allowing you to flip or run with the pack.
