Sync your FIDE ID
Sync your FIDE ID, secure your rating, and instantly qualify for official Echess events with Checkmate Live.
If you’re a FIDE-registered player, syncing your FIDE ID automatically links your official rating and helps you avoid false flags in the Sixth-i anti-cheat system when you first start playing. No more Zoom is required—our Checkmate Live Arbiter Mode and in-platform video system handle all online supervision. For events like Echess (officially rated Federation competitions with online supervised play) and Pro Mode high-stakes tournaments (where you earn USDC), Arbiter Mode is mandatory to ensure a fair and compliant competitive environment.
Rated Player Requirements for Echess Events
Compete Under Your Real Name: For Federation events, you must compete under your real name.
Tournament Stage Compliance: In Checkmate Live tournaments, especially during playoff or finals stages, your real name (collected during FIDE ID sync) is visible to tournament admins and the public.
Regulatory Compliance: You must comply with FIDE Laws of Chess and Fair Play Rules for Online Competitions with Supervision.
