🔥 Prepare for intense battles in Checkmate's "Winner Takes All" mode. Stake your cards against opponents, and the victor claims all!

* Select and stake your cards 🎴
* Equalize value differences, if any with Credits ⚖️
* Play your preferred chess game ♟️
* The winner takes everything, minus a small fee 💪

Battle Mode offers an engaging combination of chess and strategic card collection, where players can stake collectible cards based on the outcome of a chess match.

### Battle Field Prep

* **Game Type Selection**\
 Players have the freedom to choose the type of chess game they wish to play, tailoring the experience to their preferences and strengths.
* **Time Control Options**\
 You can select the time control for the match, allowing for either fast-paced games or longer strategic battles.
* **Match Format Choices**\
 Decide whether you want to play a single game (Best of One), a three-game series (Best of Three), or a five-game series (Best of Five). This choice adds another layer of strategy and commitment to your staked cards.

### How it works

* Card Staking: Players stake cards from their collection as their commitment to the match.
* Balancing Stakes: Value differences between players' stakes are equalized using Checkmate credits.
* Strategic Chess Play: The chess match follows the selected game type and time control, with the winner determined by skill in the chosen format.
* Rewards for the Winner: The victor claims all the staked cards, minus a small fee for Checkmate and the Community Treasury.

### Match-Making

* Skill-Based Challenges: We recommend challenging players of a similar skill level and choosing a game type and format that suits your playstyle.
* Flexibility and Control: The ability to choose the game type, time control, and match format ensures a personalized and comfortable experience, suitable for your strategic approach to both chess and card collection.
