🏁Avatar Class
Flex your class with your Checkmate Alpha Avatar and enjoy the rewards of being an early adopter. Each Alpha Avatar is a unique one-of-a-kind Checkmate Collectable with its own set of unique traits.
Two key principles rule alpha Avatas and In-Season Avatars:
Class scarcity
Traits rarity
The total population of Checkmate Avatars dictates class supply; they are born (minted) with their unique traits.
Class
Each Avatar is assigned a hierarchy based on the pieces found in chess
Avatars are weighted according to their class, with the King and Queen having the highest weighting and the Pawn the smallest weighting
Future drop allocations will be allocated based on class weightings
Each Aatar class also has an Alpha Pro pass ranging from one to seven years
The Alpha Pack class you select dictates the class of Avatar you receive but not the Avatar nor its trait rarity; this is a surprise and part of the fun
You are free to trade your PFP Ethereum-based Avatar with other players if you wish or keep to collect future drops
Class | Supply | Drop Weighting | Pro Pass Term |
King | 888 | 6 | 7 |
Queen | 888 | 6 | 7 |
Rook | 5888 | 4 | 6 |
Knight | 5888 | 3 | 5 |
Bishop | 5888 | 2 | 4 |

Drop Weighting and Allocation
Drops may be in credits, collectibles or tokens, including the Participation Token. The example below shows that a King and Queen get x6 the allocation a Pawn receives. The following example is based on 10M Credits being dropped.
Class | Drop pool per Class (©) | Drop Value Per Avatar (©) |
King | 734,532 | 827 |
Queen | 734,532 | 827 |
Rook | 3,246,939 | 551 |
Knight | 2,435,205 | 414 |
Bishop | 1,623,470 | 276 |
Pawn | 1,225,323 | 138 |
Value is in the eye of the holder; make sure you consider the total supply of Alpha Avatar, its traits and drop weighting when choosing your class.
