Checkmate battle passes are suped-up season passes with exclusive rewards, features and perks. Players who want to level up from free-to-play can purchase passes monthly, per season or annually.

Aracde Pass

The Arcade pass is a tiered reward system within Checkmate’s Arcade Mode. It has two versions: a free version with limited rewards and Arcade+, which unlocks 100 tiers of enhanced rewards each season.

Battle Pass Loot and Features

As you play, you earn battle points and XP to level up your pass to unlock rewards and loot. All players can play for free or level up with a pass that unlocks a bundle of extra features and rewards, Including Avatars, Chess Sets, Crowns and exclusive tournaments.

Pro Passes are for players who want to play and trade for Cash (USDC), mint rewards and includes the in-game video feature to unlock your 3D Avatar.

You can earn up to 100 Crowns, 1350 Credits, and a pro pass if you complete it during the season.

1. Aracde and Pro Pass, Battle Points, and Tier Skips will be accessible in Checkmate once Season 1 is available.

2. Arcade Pass redemption applies to one season only.

3. An Arcade pass is required to redeem in-game assets beyond the free tier

4. Season Pass redemption applies to one season of only

5. Passes can be gifted or redeemed based on a code

6. A pro pass is required to mint collectables at the end of the season

7. Players who wish to enter pro tournaments and play for USDC must be subscribed and have played 30 games before entering a tournament

8. Tournament access is locked during trial periods

Alpha Pass

• The Alpha Pass is only available in Alphas Packs

• The Alpha Pass included in Alpha Packs must be redeemed within 12 months

• The Alpha Pass can be resold as a bundle with the Alpha Avatar up until it is split

Video Feature

Alpha Pass and Pro pass video conferencing is provided on a fair-use basis (22 minutes per day). Additional video credits can be purchased if you exceed the monthly buffer.
