It might seem harsh but Checkmate.live views cheating in online chess as fraud. We are committed to ensuring a trustworthy platform and maintaining the competitive integrity of gameplay. Our strict anti-cheating measures and advanced monitoring techniques are in place to safeguard fair play for players.
The Checkmate Avatar System has been implemented to enhance your privacy. It allows you to participate in gameplay and community interactions while keeping your identity confidential.
Our commitment extends through our partnerships with the Asian Chess Federation, the Arab Esports Federation, and other International Esports Federations. As Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) members, we are equipped with the necessary tools and support to monitor and address any fair play breaches effectively. We have a reporting mechanism to report serious cheating incidents, in line with our agreements with these federations.
For Pro Pass holders, traders, or those receiving payouts, completing Full KYC is mandatory, particularly for cash tournaments. Players must also complete at least 30 games before participating in these tournaments. Before you can make a withdrawal, you will need to complete an identity verification process. This is in place to follow anti-money-laundering and anti-terrorism policies and prevent fraudulent behaviour in general. We must conform to these regulations by law.
